Hello! I’m Carlos, a designer & illustrator based in Houston.
For over 20 years I’ve enjoyed collaborating with some amazing creative teams and business owners developing brand identities and illustration systems for projects large and small. While my primary focus is logo design and iconography, I enjoy the process of crafting all aspects of a brand including strategy, visual systems, campaigns, etc. – any opportunity to create a meaningful and memorable experience.
Process
I’m a big believer in collaboration and the power of working together to solve a problem. For me, this starts at the very beginning when concepts are still in pencil sketch form. With pencils, a lot of ground can be covered very quickly, so talking through ideas early on can strengthen concepts as they develop. This means solutions are more focused, aligned, and relevant throughout the process.
